Commonly Prescribed For: Viagra is a commonly known drug used as a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction. Due to the effects of Viagra in the body in some cases it is used to improve the exercise capacity in both men and women.
How to Take It: Viagra should be taken between half an hour and one hour before sexual activity and shouldn’t be taken more than once a day. It is taken orally with a full glass of water. In most patients Viagra causes an erection only when sexually stimulated. Since Viagra is digested it might not be as effective if taken after a heavy meal.
How it Works: Viagra dilates the blood vessels in certain parts of the body. In the case of erectile dysfunction Viagra increases the blood flow to the penis achieving and maintaining an erection.
