Commonly Prescribed For: Wymox is used for treating many types of infections that include ear infection, E. coli and several bladder infections. In certain scenarios, Wymox is combined with an antibiotic called clarithromycin, wherein it is used in treating ulcers that is caused by Helicobacter pylori.

How to Take it: Wymox is obtainable in the form of tablets. Chew the tablet before you could swallow it. The dispersible tablet may not dissolve. Therefore, mix the tablet with water and drink the mixture right away. Shake the oral solution well before using it. If you tend to miss a dose, skip is and make sure you take it properly the next time.
How it Works: Wymox belongs to a class of medications often referred to as penicillin-like antibiotics. Its primary function is to end the growth of bacteria.
Some Side Effects: Wymox usage leads to less serious side effects like nausea, headache, thrush, vomiting, hairy tongue, abdominal pain. Serious consequences may lead to sore throat, severe blistering, chills, body aches, seizure, agitation, red skin rash, diarrhea that is bloody, unusual weakness and loss of appetite.
