How to take it: Nicoderm patches must be applied to the skin once, every day, usually at the same time. Nicoderm is available in various strengths, which can be used for a longer period of time. The patch should be applied on clean dry skin.

How it Works: Nicoderm comes in 3 different variations ranging from 7 mg to 21 mg. Each transdermal patch supplies the body with nicotine during 24 or 16 hours.

Some Side Effects: Regular side effects include giddiness, headache, swelling of certain areas where the patch is applied and vomiting. Adversarial effects may lead to sever skin rashes, difficulty in breathing, seizures and unusual heartbeat.
