How to take it: Take Temazepan by mouth with a glass of water when you are just ready to go in for several hours of sleep. Also as it is a short term drug, consult your doctor for further dose with your physician after 7-10 days.
How does it work: Temazepam belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepine, which have the ability to increase or enhance the effects of the naturally occurring chemical in our bodies known as GABA. This chemical further stops or reduces to a great extent the nerve signals of the brain. The result is that the muscles get relaxed, anxiety is reduced and the patient gets sleepy.
Side Effects: daytime drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth, vomiting, loss of coordination and amnesia
