How to take it: Flurazepam should be taken with glass water by mouth just before bedtime. The medicine should be taken with or without food in a prescribed dosage.
How it Works: Flurazepam belongs to the class of drugs called benzodiazenine, which are primarily intended to reduce the anxiety, tension and the stress level in the brain. Flurazepam helps in enhancing the effect of GABA, which is a naturally occurring chemical in the body that is responsible for conducting the nerve impulses. With the increased effect of GABA, the overall activity of the central nervous system is reducing thereby relaxing the muscles, inducing sleep and reducing anxiety.
