How to Take it: Dalmane, which comes in the form of capsule, has to be taken by mouth. The medication should be taken just before going to bed without any restriction of having it with or without food.

How it Works: Dalmane works mainly affects the brain by enhancing the effects of GABA. This is a chemical which is known to be naturally calming and has the tendency to either stop or slow down different nerve signals in the brain, thereby relaxing the muscles, reducing anxiety and causing sleepiness.
