How to Take it: Skelaxin is available in the form of a tablet to be taken via mouth. This medication is normally taken 3 or 4 times every day. Take this medication as prescribed.

How it Works: This medication works to block the nerve impulses present in the brain.

Some Side Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, nervousness, dizziness, headache, and stomach upset. Some serious side effects include severe skin rash, seizures, difficulty breathing, unusual tiredness or weakness, yellowing of the skin, and abnormal bleeding.
