How to take it: Raloxifene belongs to a group of drugs known as selective estrogen receptor modulators. Side effects: Common side effects include hot flushes, tremor, leg cramps, diarrhea, inflammation of the hands, or lower legs, rash, flu-like symptoms, and vomiting, joint pain, loss of coordination, sweating, dizziness, and difficulty falling asleep.
