It is used to stop migraine headaches and tremors. Propranolol is commonly used with other medications.

How to Take it: Propranolol is available in the form of a tablet or as capsules to be taken via mouth. It is also available as a liquid or concentrate. Immediate-acting tablets can be taken 2 to 4 times every day. The extended-release tablets are normally taken once every day. Do not chew or rush the extended-release tablets, instead swallow the tablets entirely. Take this medication as prescribed.
