How to Take it: Ponstel is available in the form of a capsule to be taken via mouth. This medication is generally taken 6 hours along with food for a period of 1 week. Take Ponstel as prescribed.
How it Works: Ponstel belongs to a group of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication works to inhibit the action of some hormones, which causes swelling and pain in your body.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include diarrhea, ringing in the ears, constipation, nervousness, and gas or bloating, and dizziness. Serious side effects include blurred vision, difficult or painful urination, unexplained weight gain, back pain, fever, blisters, rash, bloody urine, itching, yellowing of the skin, hives, flu-like symptoms, inflammation of the eyes, tongue, hands, or lower legs, loss of appetite, difficulty breathing or swallowing, upset stomach, pale skin, lack of energy, and abnormal bleeding or bruising.
