How to Take it: Pletal is available in the form of a tablet to be taken via mouth. This medication is normally taken two times every day, half an hour before or 2 hours after taking breakfast and dinner. Take this medication as prescribed.

How it Works: Pletal belongs to a group of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 3 inhibitor. This medication works to widen arteries that normally supplies blood to your legs and also reduces the ability of platelets to stick together.

Some Side Effects: Common side effects include headache, flu-like symptoms, fast or irregular heartbeat, sore throat, diarrhea, runny nose, dizziness, abnormal, stools, and upset stomach. Some serious side effects include rash, shortness of breath, and inflammation of the hands, or lower legs.
