Commonly Prescribed For: Plendil is generally prescribed for treating high blood pressure. This medication can also be used sometimes for treating Raynaud’s syndrome. It is commonly used with other medications.
How to Take it: Plendil is available in the form of a tablet to be taken via mouth. This medication is normally taken once every day. Do not chew or crush the tablets, instead swallow the tablets entirely. Take this medication as prescribed.
How it Works: This medication works to relax the blood vessels so that the heart doesn’t require pumping very hard.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include headache, swelling of tissues around teeth, fleeing of warmth, constipation, dizziness or lightheadedness, heartburn, and irregular heartbeat. Some serious side effects include inflammation of the face, lips, or legs, rash, and difficulty breathing or swallowing.
