Lercanidipine

Commonly Prescribed For: Lercanidipine is normally prescribed for treating hypertension (high blood pressure).
How to Take it: Leflunomide comes in tablet forms. It is usually taken one hour prior to taking meals on an empty stomach. If you miss a dose, skip it and follow your regular schedule.
How it Works: Lercanidipine belongs to a class of medications known as calcium channel blockers. It acts on the blood vessels and retards the association of calcium through cells. It lowers blood pressure and allows the heart to function more efficiently.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include headache, weakness, dizziness, ankle swelling, and loss of balance, heart palpitations, tachycardia, muscle pain, swollen legs, constipation, feeling sick, skin rash, tummy pain and facial flushing.
