How to Take it: Lanoxin is available in form of a tablet, a pediatric elixir (liquid) and as a capsule to take by mouth. It is normally taken once every day.

How it Works: Lanoxin increases the pumping power of your heart. It works by slowing down abnormal heart when the atrial rhythms go out of control.

Some Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, irregular heartbeat, drowsiness, and rash and vision changes. Some serious side effects include upset stomach, difficulty breathing, vomiting, unusual weight gain, diarrhea and loss of appetite.
