How to Take it: Lamictal is available in the form of a tablet to take via mouth. Lamictal is usually taken along with water, either with food or without a meal. Chew and crush the chewable dispersible tablet and then swallow it or swallow it entirely along with water.

How it Works: Lamictal affects the sodium channels present in the brain, thereby prevents any unusual activity from spreading to any other parts in the brain. It helps to control seizures.
