Kenalog Aerosol

Other Names: Triamcinolone.

Commonly prescribed for: Kenalog Aerosol is used to treat inflammation, swelling and redness of skin.

How to take it: Always remember to wash your hands after using the Kenalog Aerosol unless your hands are being treated. Hold the can 3 to 6 inches away and spray gently covering the full surface of the skin. After spraying makes sure to allow the skin to breathe this means avoid wearing tight fitting clothes or bandages. They will force too much kenalog absorption and you’ll develop unwanted side effects.

How it works: Kenalog Aerosol is a steroid which is thought to reduce/stop the expansion of chemicals causing inflammation, swelling and redness of skin. The full procedure is very much unknown to researchers today.

Some Side Effects: If any of these symptoms appear hives, difficulty breathing or swelling of lips or eyes then call your doctor and go to the emergency room as these are signs of allergic reaction. Other side effects of kenalog include blurred vision, seeing halos around light, an irregular heartbeat, insomnia and fatigue. Some of the more serious side-effects include thinning of skin, stretch marks or a burning/itching sensation on the skin.
