Fluconazole

Other Names: Diflucan

Commonly Prescribed For: Fluconazole is used for the treatment of fungal or yeast infections such as thrush.

It comes in tablet form or in the form of an oral suspension.  It should be taken with or without food and is best taken at the same time every day.  You should continue to take Fluconazole even if symptoms begin to improve.  This is because you may start to feel better before the infection has gone completely.  If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as possible but do not take more than one does at a time.
