Flextra DS

Commonly Prescribed For: Flextra-DS is prescribed for relieving pain and reducing fever.  It is used to treat the symptoms which are associated with allergies or hay fever.

How to Take It: Flextra-DS should be taken as prescribed by your doctor.  It should not be taken for longer than prescribed or in a higher dose.  Normal dosage is 1000mg no more than 4 times per day.  It comes in tablet form and should be swallowed with water. Flextra-DS should be stored at room temperature and kept away from heat and moisture. Missed doses can be taken as soon as you remember but do not take two tablets at the same time.

How It Works: Flextra-DS works by reducing the amount of histamine in the body.  This helps to relieve symptoms of allergies such as runny nose; sneezing; watery eyes; or pain or high temperature associated with seasonal allergies.

Some Side Effects: Side effects of Flextra-DS can include dry mouth; heartburn; upset stomach; anxiety; nausea; drowsiness and nervousness.  Serious signs of an allergic reaction can include rash; trouble breathing; swollen face mouth or tongue; hives; tightness of chest or itching.  Other severe side effects can include dizziness; tinnitus; confusion; fatigue; yellowing of the skin or eyes; constant sore throat; difficulty swallowing; black or bloody stools; dark urine or severe abdominal pain.
