How to Take It: Tadalafil is the generic name for Cialis. As cialis it is an oral treatment that should be taken an hour before sexual activity or, on a smaller dose, some doctors may prescribe it on a daily basis.

How it Works: Tadalafil increases the blood flow in certain parts of the body, it might be prescribed for other conditions than impotence. The biggest difference between tadalafil (cialis) and other ED drugs is the longer period of effectiveness.
