How to Take It: Androderm comes as a skin patch. It is applied to flat, clean, dry skin usually in the stomach or thigh. The patch will work for 24 hours after which should be replaced with a new one in a different part of the body.

How it Works: Androderm delivers constant, controlled dose of testosterone through the skin for a period of 24 hours. Testosterone effects can be classified as virilizing and anabolic which increases the masculine functions in men lacking of this substance.

Some Side Effects: Androderm can cause an irritation to the skin where the skin patch is worn. Testosterone patches might also cause breast swelling, acne, hair growth or loss, headaches and mood swings.
