Butalbital-APAP

Commonly Prescribed for: Butalbital-APAP is prescribed to relief the tension headaches. It provides relief by loosening the stressed muscles on the neck and shoulders; as the result, migraine headaches are reduced.
How to Take It: Butalbital-APAP is orally taken. It should be taken accordingly to the doctor prescription, although the standard dose for most adults is two pills for each four hours and no more than six tablets a day. Make sure your doctor knows if you have a previous record of alcohol or drugs dependence, lung diseases including asthma and emphysema, liver diseases such as hepatitis or cirrhosis, renal disorders, heart problems, porphyria, diabetes, extreme depression and hyperthyroidism.
How It Works: Classified as a Barbiturate medication, Butalbital-APAP is actually a combination of substances with sedative and pain managing properties. It affects the central nervous system, delivering a good feeling and relief on muscle problems.
Some Side Effects: Taking Butalbital-APAP may lead to series of side effect, such as abdominal aches, a sensation of intoxication, sedation, short breath, lightheaded feeling or vomiting. Lesser reported side effects include profuse sweating, excessive urination, extreme exhaustion, dry mouth, intense (and unusual) feeling of wellness, constipation, agitation, hot flashes, numbness and allergic reactions.
