How it Works: Atacand blocks the action of some chemicals, which are responsible for tightening the blood vessels, so that blood flows more smoothly and efficiently.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, runny nose, lightheadedness, sore throat, congestion, fever, cough, back pain, diarrhea and muscle aches. Some serious side effects include rash, inflammation of the eyes, tongue or lower legs, and difficulty swallowing.
