Amiloride Hcl

Commonly Prescribed For: Amiloride Hcl is a diuretic combination, generally prescribed for treating congestive heart failure. Amiloride hydrochloride can be used alone or combined with other medications for treating high blood pressure.
How to Take it: Amiloride Hcl is available in the form of a tablet to be taken via mouth. This medication is generally taken once every day in the morning along with food. Take amiloride hydrochloride as prescribed.
How it Works: Amiloride Hcl increases the quantity of salt and water that the kidneys eradicates from the blood. It doesn’t leads to the loss of potassium in your body.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include upset stomach, headache, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, frequent urination, loss of appetite and gas. Some serious side effects include muscle weakness or cramps, difficulty breathing or swallowing, fatigue, skin rash, slow or irregular heartbeat, yellowing of the skin, sore throat and abnormal bruising.
