How to take it: The dosage for children aged 6 or above is 5 mg daily taken twice with gradual dosage increments. For adults the daily doses are of 20-30mg, 2-3 times daily. You can ingest it with/without food. Take it 30-45minutes prior to meals. Taking the last dose prior to 6pm helps avoid insomnia.

How it works: Methylphenidate stimulates and soothes you by regulating brain emitted chemicals.

Side effects: Suicidal tendencies, depression, confusion, chest pain, allergies, aggressiveness, fainting, tics and seizures are experienced.
