How to take it: For Children aged 6 or above the dose is 5mg two times a day prior to breakfast and lunchtime. Adults generally take 20-30mg Methylin 2-3 times a day. It can be had with/without food. It should be ingested 30-45 minutes prior to a meal.

How it works: Methylin stimulates and controls chemicals produced by the brain to create a soothing effect.

Side effects: Methylin side effects include insomnia, nervousness, appetite loss, nausea, dizziness, stomach cramps, headaches, droopiness, weight loss and stunted growth.
