How to take it: Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the medicine. Apply a thin layer of Fostex which contains benzoyl peroxide and rub it gently over the affected area.
How it works: Benzoyl peroxide which is the main ingredient in the medicine fights with the acne causing bacteria, thereby causing the skin to soften, swell and then peel or slough in skin where the cream is applied.
Some side effects: Peeling, dry, red or scaling skin .severe allergic reactions (hives; rash; itching; tightness in the chest; difficulty breathing; swelling of the mouth, lips, face orĀ tongue); severe irritation.
