Commonly Prescribed for : Accutane is another vitamin A form, it is usually prescribed for severe acne, given only when other medications and antibiotics have not helped in cutting cystic and disfiguring acne.

How to take it: This capsule can be consumed twice a day with the meals. You are not supposed to chew or suck the capsule but swallow it with milk or water or any other non alcoholic drink.

How it works: It mainly works on oil glands in the skin resulting in shrinking their size and finally diminishing them

Side effects: Few common side effects can be Dry skin, blood disorder, back pain, decreased (good) HDL etc.
