Aceon

Commonly Prescribed For: Aceon can be used alone or combined with other medications for treating high blood pressure.
How to Take it: Aceon is available in the form of a tablet to be taken via mouth. It is generally taken once or two times every day. Take Aceon as prescribed.
How it Works: Aceon belongs to a group of drugs known as angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. It prevents the production of certain chemicals that are responsible for tightening the blood vessels, thereby allowing the blood to flow more smoothly.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects include cough, upset stomach, headache, stomach pain, weakness and diarrhea. Some serious side effects include inflammation of the face, eyes, feet or lower legs, irregular or rapid heartbeats, hoarseness, fever, difficulty swallowing or breathing, sore throat, lightheadedness and chills.
