How to Take it: Abilify comes in tablets (Abilify Discmelt), injections and liquid. Tablets can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. The Abilify injections are usually applied by nurses and doctors in hospitals and the liquid form should be taken orally using a measuring device.
How it works: Abilify affects certain chemicals in the brain. It is known as an atypical antipsychotic.
Some Side Effects: Common side effects of abilify are dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea and vomiting. In the case of an allergic reaction seek medical attention immediately.
